In such a situation, there are many people who are also falling prey to heat stroke, but if you consume mint leaves properly then heat stroke can be avoided. Its small green leaves have other benefits.
Ayurvedic doctor VK Pandey (BAMS from Vinoba Bhave University, with more than 25 years of experience and medical officer in the Government of Jharkhand) from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, told Local 18 that mint leaves should be included especially in the diet. Its use in the form of chutney to sherbet is very effective.
Benefits of mint leaves
Dr. VK Pandey explains that mint water has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, it is rich in phytonutrients and contains vitamin A, vitamin C and B-complex, phosphorus, calcium and anti-bacterial properties. Besides, its effect is also quite cold. This is why it is considered a panacea for heat.
He further said that mint chutney tastes delicious. You can prepare such chutney and consume one spoon of it every day. Apart from this, put mint in a glass of water overnight and drink that water around 11:00 in the day. Also, you can grind mint leaves and add it to Sattu or Bael sherbet. Consuming mint in this manner is very beneficial.
Effective in these diseases also
Also, if you have fever due to heat stroke, then mint leaves can prove to be very beneficial. Apart from this, if there is a problem of stomach cramps, weak digestive power, indigestion or stomach burning, burning sensation during urination, then mint water is very beneficial. Even if there is pain anywhere in the body due to heat, mint is a panacea. Apart from this, it is also effective in weight loss. However, it should not be consumed later. Consume only four to five leaves every day.
