Graeme Swann scolded England players
England bowed before Indian spinners
New Delhi. England’s batsmen succumbed to the Indian spinners in the first innings of the fifth and last Test match of the ongoing series in Dharamsala. England’s first innings collapsed for 218 runs. Spinners took all 10 wickets for India. Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets while Ashwin took 4 wickets in his bag. One wicket went to Ravindra Jadeja’s account. In the current series, England’s batsmen looked helpless in front of India’s spinners. Former England spinner Graeme Swann says that his country’s players succumbed under pressure in front of India’s world-class spinners in the current series.
When asked the reason for the early collapse of England’s innings, Graeme Swann told PTI Video, ‘You saw that the world class spinners were at the top of their game. I think this is not a capitulation of England, but perhaps it is a capitulation under pressure. There are two ways to look at this. England definitely know that they can do better but at the moment the Indian team has a very world class champion bowler who is bowling extremely well.

‘This day was bad for England’
Green Swan termed it a disappointing day for England and said, ‘It was a disappointing day after a good start. It was good for England not to lose any wicket in the initial spell. But then Kuldeep, who is in excellent form at the moment, came out to bowl and he overpowered them. It is disappointing to win the toss and reach such a situation on a good pitch. This day was bad for England.
