Its scientific name is Piper longum. He told that it is used as a spice in the house. But it is also used in making Unani, Ayurvedic and homeopathic medicines.
In Ayurveda it is given for Kapha dosha. Like many people get chest infection. It is also used in cough and cold etc. People who suffer from asthma can also use it. People who often suffer from headache, then take half spoon of Pippali powder with half a glass of water in the morning and evening, you will get relief. Apart from this, you can also apply its paste. It is also considered good for heart health.
Along with strengthening our bones, Pippali also strengthens the immune system. It is also considered better for the health of men and women. It also removes acne from the skin. Apart from this, it also prevents hair fall.
Who cannot use Pippali?
Dr. Siraj Siddiqui says that the use of Pippali is beneficial in many diseases, but its correct dosage should be taken. Before using it, you must consult a doctor. Taking the wrong dose can worsen cough, cause stomach irritation etc. Pregnant women, small children and lactating women should not consume it.
