This statement of Apple has been leaked through the UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) document. Apple has stated in this document that the company will provide a minimum of 5 years of security updates for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is applicable from its first supply date i.e. 22 September 2023. At the same time, brands like Google and Samsung are offering security updates for 7 years from the first supply date.
According to the PSTI document, security update means the software that protects any electronic device from hacking or any other type of virus attack.
