The country’s leading automaker Tata Motors is one of the few brands that are registering rapid growth despite the slowdown in the market. The biggest reason for this is the company’s vehicle lineup, which has now completely changed. Apart from this, the company’s entry in almost every segment and aggressive marketing has also given a high level of sales charge. In the last February, the Hyundai Creta has given a tremendous competition, registering record-breaking sales of Tata’s cheapest SUV Punch.
Although these two vehicles are of different size segments, but the way Punch has made its mark among the customers, it is clear that it is a long race horse. If we look at the sales figures, in the last February, where Hyundai has registered a total of 9,606 units of Creta, while 9,592 units of Tata Punch have been sold. There is a difference of only 14 units between these two, which is very minor. The sales of Creta are down by 23% over the corresponding month of last year as against 12,428 units in the month of February last year.
