Gujarat. Alpesh Thakur, a strong young politician from Gujarat and a strong supporter of the OBC movement, who recently left the Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, has fiercely targeted Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. He took a jibe at the Congress party and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Alpesh Thakur also took a dig at Gujarat Congress’s statement that we had brought a leader of borrowed money and he left. According to Alpesh Thakur, ‘This statement of Gujarat Congress was made keeping me in the center.’
He made a loud speech while standing from the stage and said, “Yesterday a big Congress leader came here, and he left saying that we had brought a man on loan and he went back. You will be surprised to know that the party gave power to that man for 40 years, I am talking about the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. When his party told him that now someone else has to come to power and you do not want to be the chief minister, the 80-year-old old man, in the lust of power, rebelled against his own party. Now such a man speaks us borrowed goods, who himself does not live under the discipline of the party and if we are borrowed goods, then we have lent you so much earlier that you came close to forming the government, but now we are taking that loan back from you. Even your 20 seats will not come in Gujarat.

Let us tell you that before the 2017 elections, Alpesh had joined the Gujarat Congress. Not only this, you can get an idea of how big Alpesh Thakur’s stature is in Gujarat politics from the fact that Rahul Gandhi himself had come to Gujarat to get Alpesh to join Congress. Let us inform that in the year 2017, Alpesh Thakor had won the election from Radhanpur seat on Congress ticket.
However, he had to face defeat in the 2019 by-elections. Alpesh kept repeating in the election campaign that after the election is over, I will come in a red beacon vehicle. But, his dream could not be fulfilled. It is said that after winning the elections in 2017 also, Alpesh wanted the post of minister. However, the Congress could not get a majority, due to which Alpesh left the Congress and joined the BJP. Now he is continuously campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party by attacking the Congress.
