Even after this incident, similar incidents were seen one after the other from many places. In view of the increasing cases of dog attacks, now strict steps are being taken regarding them. In this sequence, now the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in the capital of the country has given strict instructions regarding dogs. Let us tell you, on Sunday, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has asked the people coming under its jurisdiction to register their pets. The corporation has also said that if this is not done, strict action will also be taken.
In view of the increasing figures of dog attacks, senior officials of the veterinary department of MCD said that the people living in the capital who keep dogs (pet dogs) must be registered under the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act. It has also been said on behalf of MCD that it is mandatory to register all pet dogs with the Municipal Corporation under Section 399 of the Delhi Municipal Act 1957. If a person is caught with his pet dog in a public place and if the registration of that dog is not found in the investigation, then there is a provision to file an FIR against their owner along with fine.
