Thousands of applications have come for 4 posts, RPSC said- Take back the application by 28 May or else action will be taken

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued a warning to the candidates applying for the post of Deputy Commandant. In fact, a large number of people have applied for the posts issued for Deputy Commandant Recruitment, 2025. Due to this, the Commission is facing difficulties in the appointment process. Keeping this in mind, the Commission has warned these applicants to withdraw their applications by May 28, otherwise action will be taken against them.

4 posts of deputy commandant, thousands of applications
Rajasthan Public Service Commission invited applications on 18 March 2025 for recruitment to 4 posts of Deputy Commandant (Home Defense Department). In the advertisement issued for this, applicants were asked to fill the application by 22 April. These four posts were for reserved categories. Of these, 2 posts were reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) category, 1 post was reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) and 1 post for Other Backward Classes (OBC).

But the Commission found that thousands of people had applied for these 4 posts. There were also a large number of people who did not fall in these reserved categories. In addition, only retired captains of the army could apply for this post. However, many people also applied who did not have compulsory qualifications.

RPSC warns of action
RPSC has strongly objected to people applying without any qualification or merit. Commission Secretary Ramnivas Mehta said, “We have come to know that there are 10,000 candidates who have applied, but they are not former Army Captains. The Commission will take action against the candidates applying without compulsory qualifications.”

RPSC has said in a statement that despite not having desired qualification, applying for any post in recruitment advertisement waste the labor, time and resources of the Commission. The Commission has warned that the candidates who will deliberately do so will be excluded from all the future examinations conducted by the Commission. Along with this, action will also be taken in this regard under Section 217 of the New Indian Code-2023.

The Commission said that even before this, time was given till May 9 to withdraw the application, but still the applications were not withdrawn. The Commission has said that now such applicants are being given the last chance. Application links to withdraw unqualified applications will be re -opened from May 13 to May 28.
