Three children, including two brothers, drowned at the Amarpuri crematorium of Banas river flowing through the town of Abu Road. The children left home to play cricket. When he did not return home till late evening, the family searched for him in the surrounding areas. Meanwhile, his clothes and Bals were found lying near the river. On receiving the information of the incident, the city police officer Harchand Dewasi reached the spot with his associates and called the divers and started rescue work. After much effort, the three were taken out one by one and rushed to the hospital, where they were declared dead.
According to the police, Rajuram son Chandu (14), Bhanaram son Galaram (12) and Bhanaram son Kalu (10), residents of Aburod district near Manpur airstrip, came out of the house on Wednesday evening asking to play cricket. When he did not reach home till late evening, the family members were worried. While searching for the children, when they reached near the Banas river passing by the Amarpuri crematorium, there were children’s clothes and beds. After this, the police was informed. The divers were called at around 9:30 pm and the search for children started in the river. The death of three children simultaneously raged a wave of mourning in the village. After the post -mortem, the bodies were handed over to the relatives.
