Seven months ago, a woman ran away with poisoning her three innocent daughters in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. The next day her husband went to the hospital with the three daughters, where a daughter died during treatment. Now the police has got a big success in this matter. The police have arrested the absconding lover of the accused woman. A reward of 25 thousand rupees was placed on the lover.
The case is of Jakhania police station area. This heartbreaking incident is from 30 August 2024. Annu Devi, who runs a tea-shop, had mixed her three children- Madhu (5 years), Ritu (4 years) and Jagriti (two and a half years) at the behest of her boyfriend Pintu Singh and mixed the medicine to kill a rat in bread. After this, both escaped from the spot. The next morning, the children’s father Chetan Gond found an empty packet of rats in the house and the health of the children started deteriorating.
Mother was immediately arrested
Chetan immediately informed the police and the children were taken to the Community Health Center. When the condition deteriorated, he was referred to the district hospital, where Ritu died. The other two girls were treated. A few days later, the police arrested Annu Devi from Albrida railway gate of Dullahpur police station area and sent them to jail.
The father of the girls had told- Annu used to go to her mother’s house with her three daughters. Panchayat was also held several times between the two families. The woman then admitted that she would never go to her mother’s house without saying. But on 30 August, she committed this scandal and then ran away with her lover.
The woman’s lover was absconding for a long time
Police said that the main accused Pintu Singh was absconding for a long time. On Monday, he was caught at the Southern Railway Crossing. Pintu Singh is a resident of Sundarpur Naugaon in Dibiyapur police station area of Auraiya district. The police is now investigating the case intensively. A reward of 25 thousand was also declared on this.
