New Delhi. Recently, three employees have been arrested for attempting to breach the security of the country’s Parliament. These people were successful in entering the Parliament premises using the same Aadhaar card. According to sources, on June 4, Monis and Qasim entered the Parliament through the IG-3 gate by showing Aadhaar cards number 763767140501, on which they had their own photographs. The information received shows that these people had conspired to make fake documents, which they used as authentic identity. On checking their documents, the Parliament security team found that the same Aadhaar number was linked to different photographs of three persons, due to which they were interrogated and later arrested.

There has been a security lapse in Parliament before
This incident is not the first incident of security lapse in Parliament. There was a security lapse during the Lok Sabha session on December 13 last year. Two persons jumped into the House from the visitors’ gallery and released yellow smoke from a can. During this, Neelam Azad and Shinde raised slogans in the Parliament premises. Six people were arrested in this incident. Police have registered an FIR under sections 419, 465, 468, 471 and 120B of the IPC and started investigating the recent lapse.
