RG Kar Rape Murder: The anger of doctors over the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College last week is not subsiding. Meanwhile, Trinamool leaders have become more abusive. A senior MP Arup Ghosh has said that women doctors are with their boyfriends, but if a patient dies, they will not be able to save them. Another leader Majid Memon said that the BJP is playing politics on this issue. He suggests that women should not do night duty. Although this has nothing to do with security, women should not go out late at night. If possible, try to avoid duty.
CBI is investigating the RG Kar rape murder case. Doctors are on strike in protest against the incident. This threatening statement has come from Arup Ghosh, MP of the ruling Trinamool Congress in the state. Regarding the strike, he said that if the doctors want to go with their boyfriends or go to their homes, they can go but if any patient dies, they will not spare them.
We cannot save
Ghosh said that if the public’s anger erupts on the doctors due to the strike, then we will not be able to save them. In a meeting in the state’s Bankura district on Sunday, Arup Ghosh said that in the name of the movement, you can go home or go out with your boyfriend. But if a patient dies due to your strike and the public’s anger erupts on you, then we will not be able to save them.
According to the Indian Express report, Arup Ghosh stuck to his point and when he came down from the stage, the journalists repeated the same question, then he said that the doctors are on strike. They are out in the name of strike. But, if the public does not get treatment, then naturally they will get angry. Then we will not be able to save them.
threatened to break a finger
There is outrage in the whole country over the RG Kar rape murder. After this incident, there was a huge uproar in RG Kar College and Hospital on the night of 14 August. Since then, there has been a war of words between the ruling Trinamool leaders and the opposition leaders. Recently, another TMC leader also gave a controversial statement. He said that whoever points a finger at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in this case, we will break his fingers.
On the other hand, TMC leader Majid Memon from Maharashtra gave a strange suggestion about women. He said that have such incidents not happened in those states where BJP is in power but due to political reasons, this is being blown out of proportion. BJP is doing politics. My suggestion is that women should not do duty at night. This has nothing to do with security. But women should not go out late at night.
