Jaipur. Monsoon rains in Rajasthan have terrified people this time. Very heavy and heavy rain alerts are being issued every day in various areas of the state. Today and tomorrow can prove to be the heaviest days of this monsoon season for Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rains for Kota, Jhalawar and Baran districts today. At the same time, an orange alert for very heavy rains has been issued in Banswara, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Pali.
According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is formed over South Western Rajasthan. Due to its effect, moderate to heavy rains may occur in Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, Jalore and their surrounding areas during the next 24 hours. There are chances of very heavy rains at some places. The low pressure area formed over Jharkhand has become more intense and has turned into a deep depression. Due to its effect, it is likely to move towards eastern Rajasthan via Madhya Pradesh in the next 48 hours. Due to its effect, moderate to heavy rains may occur in some parts of Kota and Udaipur divisions.
Heavy rain alert in seven districts of Rajasthan
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a forecast of extremely heavy rain in three districts of Kota division and very heavy rain in 11 districts in the state today. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Ajmer, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Barmer, Bikaner and Jalore districts. A yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued for these districts. The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people of the warning districts to be cautious.

Heavy rain in Barmer, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur
Earlier on Saturday, heavy rains lashed many areas of Rajasthan. Rains continued in rural areas of Kota. Heavy rains lashed Barmer, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur districts of western Rajasthan. Due to this, many low lying areas of these districts got submerged. Two brothers died due to drowning in rain water in Barmer.
