Tonk. The players of Tonk district performed brilliantly in the state level Taekwondo competition held from 18 to 20 July 2025 in Bharatpur. The players won a total of 13 medals. These include 5 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Saksham Kumawat won the gold medal in the men’s under 27 kg weight category in the age group of PV7-8. Saksham Chaudhary in the Under 53 kg weight category in the Kedit men’s 12-14 age group and Shivkumar Sharma in the under 59 kg weight category won gold medals. Divya Yadav in the under 35 kg weight category in the age group of women sub junior 8-11 and Rit Kumawat in the under 59 kg weight category in the age group of 12-14 also won gold medals. Those who win silver medal include PV men 7-8 age group Livanshu Prajapat in the under 22 kg weight category and Daksha Chaudhary in the Under 27 kg weight category. Sub junior men won the silver medal in the under 27 kg weight category in the age group of 8-11 and Priyank Raghuvanshi in the under 35 kg weight category. Akshita Kushwaha won a silver medal in the under 33 kg weight category in the Kedit Women’s 12-14 age group. Among those who won bronze medal are the sub junior women 8-11 age group Akshita Yadav in the under 26 kg weight category and Akshita Sharma in the under 35 kg weight category. Vanshika Verma won a bronze medal in the under 37 kg weight category in the Kedit Women’s 12-14 age group.
The players were welcomed on returning to Tonk. Mukesh Kumar Sharma, Surajmal Jat, Dr. Manish Kumawat, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Kushwaha, Ramdayal Yadav, Kedar Prasad Yadav, Mukesh Vyas, Dharmendra Gupta, Kuldeep Chaudhary, Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary, Om Singh Nayak, Hansraj Verma, Radhakrishna Chaudhary and District Kickboxing Association Tonk Secretary Dhannalal Verma and all the players Dhannalal Verma and all the players.
All the players are currently training at The Tiger Martial Arts Academy Tonk. Academy director Krishna Murari Prajapati greeted all the players.
