The situation is such that the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for severe heat for Delhi NCR and a red alert for Bihar. On the other hand, almost the entire Northeast from Gujarat-Maharashtra is battling torrential rains. The condition of heavy rains is such that at some places the rail service has come to a halt and at some places the highway has been washed away in the strong flow of water. It is being said that many people are trapped in the landslide in Sikkim. At the same time, IMD has issued a forecast of more torrential rains in these areas.
According to the information, 8 trains of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) connecting Tripura and Barak Valley of Assam have been canceled for two days due to heavy rains. A spokesperson of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) gave this information on Saturday. The railway spokesperson said that 8 trains are being canceled after heavy rains and an alert issued by the Meteorological Department for the next two days in the Lumding-Badarpur hill section, while the timing of another train is being changed.
