Many trains canceled after landslide in Kerala
Wayanad Landslides: Heavy rains wreaked havoc in Wayanad, Kerala. 43 people have died in landslides at several places in the district. Rescue operations are being carried out to save hundreds of stranded people. Landslides have occurred on Meppadi, Mubadakkai and Chooral Mala hills in Wayanad. More than 400 families are stranded after a bridge collapsed in Chooral Mala town. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi, who was MP from Wayanad, have expressed grief over the incident. The water from heavy rains in Kerala has also come on the railway track. The flow of water on the track is so fast that many trains have been canceled. Train number- 16526 was stopped between Vallathol Nagar-Wadakanchery due to heavy rains and water flow on the track.

- Train No 16649 Mangaluru Central – Kanyakumari Parashuram Express will terminate at Shoranur.
- Train No. 16326 Kottayam – Nilambur Road Express will be terminated at Angamaly.
- Train No. 16650 Kanyakumari – Mangaluru Central Parasuram Express will start service from Shoranur Junction.
- Train No. 12075 Kozhikode – Thiruvananthapuram Central Jan Shatabdi Express will start service from Ernakulam Junction instead of Kozhikode.
- Train No. 16325 Nilambur Road – Kottayam Express will start service from Angamaly.
- Train No. 16307 Alappuzha – Kannur will start its service from Shoranur instead of Alappuzha.
- Train No 16301 Shoranur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Venad Express will start service from Chalakkudy instead of Shoranur Junction.
- Train No. 16792 Palakkad – Tirunelveli Palaruvi Express will start service from Aluva instead of Palakkad.
