Trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar Filed Anticipatory Bail Petition: Trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar filed a petition for anticipatory bail in Delhi Patiala House Court

New Delhi. Controversial trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar has filed an application for anticipatory bail in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. In this case, Pooja’s lawyer said that she has been issued a show cause notice twice, so she is seeking protection from the court to avoid arrest. The hearing of the case in Patiala House Court has been postponed till tomorrow morning at 10 am. There are many serious allegations against Pooja, including obtaining a disability certificate through fraudulent means and taking advantage of reservation in UPSC examination.

In this case, an FIR was also lodged against Pooja by UPSC and a notice was issued to Pooja asking for an answer as to why her UPSC membership should not be cancelled. Along with this, Pooja’s training duty was stopped midway and she was ordered to report to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie. However, despite the stipulated time having passed, Pooja Khedkar did not report to the Mussoorie Academy and is currently underground.

Talking about the hearing in Patiala House Court on the anticipatory bail plea of probationary IAS Pooja Khedkar, lawyer Naresh Kaushik said that submissions have been made and they have also been countered. Even today, the arguments presented by Pooja’s lawyer were not factually correct, so I had to counter it. Pooja Khedkar said that she mentioned the wrong number of attempts due to disability. She is trying to justify it but this should not happen. This seems to be a clear case of violation of rules. On the other hand, the central government has also sent a notice to Pooja Khedkar. Pooja has been given time till August 2 to respond to this notice of DoPT.
