Korba (Rep. of New Zealand). In Rehabilitation Village Sirkikhurd Gandhinagar, Self Help Group sisters were trained on Leadership Development and Livelihood Management. In this training program organized by Chhattisgarh Navpragathi Manch social service organization, 25 group president, secretary and accountant participated.
At the beginning of the program, the group’s group anthem and bihaan song were presented after wreath-laying in the shadow pictures of the great men. Usha Vishwakarma, Aruna Chandrakar, graders of Sapooran Bihan Yojna, director of Navpragati Manch, gave detailed information on the importance of self-help group, Panchsutra meeting, savings, loan, mutual transactions, account maintenance, 11-point activity. Through the group, women’s rights, economic, social, educational and political empowerment were made aware of the efforts made in the society. Highlighted the role of women’s groups in the development of family, country and society. Keeping in view the achievements of women’s societies in the field of home industry and self-employment, sustainable livelihood etc., women were encouraged to set up cottage industries and the facilities provided by the government and local SECL management to self-help groups, financial help, information and marketing. Tips were also given. In collaboration with the district administration and SECL, the application form was also filled for various types of machines under the CSR item. On this occasion, the officials of Urjadhani Land Displaced Farmers Welfare Committee, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, Lalit Mahilange, Beltikri Sarpanch Basant Kanwar, Santosh Chauhan, Ajay Yadav etc. also gave their support. Arjun Vastrakar and gratitude Ashish Divya conducted the program.
