Deeg. A one-day training program was organized at the Adarsh Anganwadi center of Deeg on the price promotion and preservation of fruits and vegetables on behalf of Shri Karna Narendra Agricultural University, Jobner. In which 45 women and women of Rajivika Self Help Group received training.
Scientist Dr. Priyanka Joshi trained women to make tomato saus. Currently tomato is being available in abundance of which various types of products can be prepared and nutrition can be earned by women of self -help groups. Tomatoes are present in good amounts of healthy nutritious ingredients such as vitamin C, beta kerotin, lycopene and fiber. Which keeps the digestive system healthy as well as increases immunity. Regular intake of tomatoes is beneficial in keeping health problems related to cancer, heart diseases and other lifestyle.
