In an important development, several trains under the Adra Railway Division in Jharkhand have been canceled due to maintenance and development works or their route has been shortened. These changes will be effective from April 7 to April 13, 2025, causing inconvenience to many passengers.
South Eastern Railway has announced that seven trains will be canceled during this period, while the route of eight others will be shortened, which means that they will end or start less than normal.
Canceled trains
The following trains will be canceled between April 7 and April 13:
Train No. 68090/68089-Adra-Mitanapur-Adra Memu Passenger: canceled on 7, 11 and 13 April.
Train No. 68046/68045-Asansol-Adra-Ansusol Memu Passenger: canceled from 7 April to 13 April.
Train number 18019/18020-Jhargram-Dhanbad-Jhargram Memu Express: canceled from 7 April to 10 April.
Train No. 68056 – Tatanagar -Asanasol Memu: Canceled on 10 April.

Additionally, the following trains will run only for a few stations instead of their normal destinations:
Train No. 18116/18115-Chakradharpur-Gomo-Chakradharpur Memu Express: On April 12, it will run till Khanudi station.
Train No. 68056/68060-Tatanagar-Ansasol-Barabhum Memu: Only on April 10 will run till Adra station.
Train No. 68060 – Asansol -Barabhum Memu: On April 10, it will run only to Adra station.
Train No. 63594/63593-Asansol-Purulia-Ansasol Memu: On 8 April, only will Adra station be operated.
