What is the matter: Society and committee president Mohd. for the recognition of Atal Anjuman Hindi-English primary school operated under Muslim Education Society and District Waqf Committee. Hussain Pathan had applied online. In the name of giving recognition to the school, it is alleged that BRC had taken an amount of Rs 10,000 earlier on February 15. After this, pressure was being created in the name of giving 15 thousand rupees to the higher officials. Due to this, the applicant lodged a complaint in the Economic Offenses Cell. After which the cell called the BRC to the premises behind Jama Masjid on the pretext of giving the remaining bribe amount on February 18 by giving a special recorder to the applicant. Serious allegations from District Education Officer to Recognition In-charge
At the time when BRC Hari Om Pathak was caught by the EOW team taking bribe amount, during that time the director of Atal Anjuman School, Mohd. Hussain Pathan was also present there. Talking to Naiduniya in front of the camera, he had alleged that BRC alone is not guilty of demanding bribe in lieu of recognition, but district education officer JS Wilson, education department’s recognition in-charge Rajesh Namdev are equally involved. According to Hussain Pathan, these three people were continuously torturing him mentally. A huge amount was being demanded in lieu of recognition. He said that strictest action should also be taken against the District Education Officer and Recognition In-charge in the entire episode. Hussain also told that he had even told the Education Department that he had named his traditional Urdu school after former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Pt. Atal Bihari Bajpayee. This revolutionary step of Muslim Education Society was also taken very lightly by the authorities and on the lines of other schools, they also pressurized them to pay the bribe amount. After these allegations of Mr. Pathan, when an attempt was made to contact the District Education Officer on mobile phone, he switched off his mobile after ringing thrice. It is being told that late on Friday evening, when BRC was trapped by the EOW, the officer and recognition in-charge Rajesh Namdev had disappeared from the city as soon as he got the information. While talking on mobile on Saturday evening, Mr. Namdev said that he is out of the district to attend his brother-in-law’s wedding. They don’t know anything about what happened.
