In view of the fear of war, India has asked its citizens living in Israel and Iran to contact the Indian Embassy and register themselves. In a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, all Indian citizens have been advised to be cautious about their safety and ensure minimal movement. A day earlier on Thursday, America had also issued an advisory for its citizens and diplomats living in Israel.
It is noteworthy that on April 1, Israel conducted an airstrike near the Iranian Embassy in Syria. 13 people including two Iranian army commanders were killed in this airstrike by Israel. After this, angry Iran threatened Israel with revenge. Iran had said that we will give a befitting reply to this attack. Seeing Iran’s attitude, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had said that we know how to defend ourselves. If someone harms us, we will not leave him. Since then, the tension between the two countries has continued and the situation has become so bad that it has now reached the point of war. There is a fear that Iran may target the border areas of Israel.
