Dausa. Troubled by the absence of water supply in the scorching heat and dirty water in the taps, the women protested by climbing the water tank in Alouda village. The women said that water is being supplied in Alouda village at 4-5 days. Dirty and smell of water is coming. Many times informed the Department of Water, but the problem was not solved. Many women climbed the tank for about one and a half hours.
On receiving the information, Papadada police station reached the spot. The women were explained and brought down from the water tank. But the villagers, including women, sat on the dharna and started protesting against the Department of Water. The villagers said that due to damage from many places in the village, dirty water is being supplied in the drains. There was also a demand to change the employees for not supplying water on time.
If action is not taken on the employees, they will agitate against the Department of Water. Meanwhile, former sarpanch Jugal Kishore Meena said that the employees are being negligent. On the occasion, Mohit Sharma, an officer of the water supply department, said that every day water will be supplied from three tankers in the colony. Which will be monitored by GPS.
