TVS Motors is now preparing to enter the cruiser bike segment after the commuter and sports bike, for which the company is working fast on its first cruiser bike.
The cruiser bike that TVS Motors is preparing to launch has been named TVS Zeppelin R. The company has displayed this cruiser bike in the Auto Expo held in 2018.
According to reports, the TVS Zeppelin R bike is running in its testing stage, which the company can launch during the festive season of Diwali.
Talking about the engine and power of the bike, according to the reports, in this bike the company is going to use the same engine which has been used in the TVS Apache series with some updates.
TVS Zeppelin R can be given a single cylinder 220 cc engine which will be based on air-cooled fuel injection technology. A 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch can be given with this engine.

Talking about the design and look of this bike, the company has made it with an aggressive design which gives a look and feel like a foreign bike. The bike has a single piece seat with a low angle flat handlebar which will give comfort to the rider. Along with this, LED headlamps with LED tail lamps and LED turn signal lamps are being used in it.

Talking about the braking system of the bike, dual channel anti-lock braking system is also being installed with disc brakes in both its front and rear wheels.
Talking about the features, it can be given features like Bluetooth connectivity, calls through TVS Connect app, SMS alerts and navigation with WhatsApp notifications and last parking location.
TVS Motors has not made any official announcement about the price yet, but according to media reports, the company can launch this TVS Zeppelin R in the market with a starting price of Rs 1.50 lakh. After its launch in India, this bike is sure to compete directly with bikes like Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220, Suzuki Intruder, etc.
