Jaipur . The Vice-Chairman of the State Level Twenty Point Program Implementation Committee, Dr. Chandrabhan said that the objective of the Twenty Point Program (BISUKA) started 47 years ago in the year 1975 is to remove poverty, unemployment, economic and social inequalities. Bisuka was started to raise the standard of living of the economically and socially backward people and to prevent exploitation. BISUKA was also reorganized in the year 2006, but even after so many years, the gap between economic and social disparities could not be bridged. Therefore, all the departments should try to ensure 100% achievement of all the parameters of BISUCA in a coordinated manner.
Dr. Chandrabhan was presiding over the meeting organized by the State Level Twenty Point Program Implementation and Coordination Committee at the Government Secretariat to review the progress achieved in the year 2021-22 of Bisuka.
In the meeting, Dr. Chandrabhan talked about various departments related to poverty, food security, housing for all, pure drinking water, health of the people, welfare of scheduled castes, tribes, minorities and other backward classes, child welfare, settlement improvement, environmental protection. And discussed in detail the status of all parameters of forest growth, rural roads and rural energy.
The Vice-Chairman, Implementation Committee expressed satisfaction over the state of Rajasthan being in the ‘Very Good’ category in the category last released in the year 2017-18 on the basis of program to the states by the Central Government.
Dr. Chandrabhan directed for effective implementation and monitoring at the state level, district level and below for the success of the programme. He also sought suggestions from the higher officials of the concerned departments to make BISuka effective in Rajasthan.
In the meeting, Government Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department P. Kishan, Government Secretary Public Works Department Chin Hari Meena, Government Secretary Food and Civil Supplies Department Naveen Jain, Government Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment Department Samit Sharma, Government Secretary Medical and Health Family Welfare Department Ashutosh Pednekar and Secretary of Government, Autonomous Government Department Jogaram were present.
