London: An incident of knife attack was reported in a children’s dance class in North-West England, UK on Monday. Two children died in this incident while nine others were injured. Police gave information about this incident. According to the police, one accused has been arrested after this incident. The age of the accused is said to be 17 years. The knife used in the incident has also been seized from the accused. The Prime Minister of Britain condemned this incident.

The incident in Southport

An eyewitness to the incident in the seaside town of Southport near Liverpool said that he saw blood-soaked children running away from the community center. A dance and yoga program based on singer Taylor Swift’s theme was being organized here for children aged six to 11 years. Prime Minister Stormer has condemned the incident. Stormer said in a post on social media, “Horrific and extremely shocking news is coming from Southport. My condolences are with all the affected people. I would like to thank the police and emergency services for their quick action.”

After the incident, the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said that they have sent several resources to Hart Street in Southport. Many people including children are feared to be injured in the attack in Southport. Officials have urged people to stay away from the area around Hart Street. It has also been said that there is ‘no major danger’ to the general public. The situation is being assessed. An employee of the Bridge Cafe located on Hart Street told Mail Online, ‘We were told that someone is attacking children with a knife.
