Gonda. Two vicious cow smugglers were injured in a police encounter in Chhapia in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. He has been admitted to the hospital by the police for treatment.
Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal said that in the joint action of the police station Chhapia Police and SOG, two vicious Goksh miscreants were injured by the police bullet in self -defense in the police encounter. He is brought to the hospital for treatment.
He said that the two miscreants Nasir and Kalim along with their colleagues were involved in the incident of Gokshi in Malipur village under Chhapia police station. A person was arrested earlier by registering an indictment in the case. There are cases against both the accused injured in the encounter under serious sections in several police stations of the district. Nasir is a history sheeter. Kalim also has six-seven cases registered. Necessary action is being taken against both of them in police station chapia.
It is noteworthy that Gokshi and banned cattle meat were reported in Malipur village of Chhapia police station area of Gonda. During this time people from many Hindu organizations reached the spot and started creating a ruckus. During the administrative action, one of the accused was caught on Tuesday while Nasir and Kalim escaped.
Police said both were shot during the encounter. He is undergoing treatment at Gonda Medical College. A large number of villagers also gathered on the spot.
Experts said that Gokshi business was going on outside the Malipur village for a long time. The villagers informed the regional police about this and also informed MLA Prabhat Verma. The MLA shared this information with Devipatan Mandalayukta and District Magistrate. In this sequence, the force of the local police station and nearby police stations came to raid on Tuesday evening. During the action, an accused was caught by the police. He had mentioned the names of Nasir and Kalim during interrogation.
