The incidents of gold theft in Banswara district of Rajasthan have started increasing suddenly. On Tuesday night, thieves stole gold-silver jewelery worth about 40 lakh rupees from a wedding house in Ghatol town of the district. The owner of the house where the stolen was said to be Mahipal Seth.

According to the information received, the thieves broke the main door of the house. Then the door of the top room opened. After this, the vault was broken and stolen. This theft was detected this morning. When the neighbors saw the lock of the house broken, the landlord informed Mahipal Seth. As soon as the information was received, Mahipal Seth reached there and went inside the house.

When he looked inside the house, he found that the room was completely disturbed. The lock of the vault was found to be broken. Jewelry and cash were stolen from home. The thieves stole about 30 tola gold, eight kg of silver and three lakh rupees in cash. He immediately reported this to the Ghatol police station. As soon as the information was received, SHO Praveen Singh reached the spot with the police team. He inspected the scene.

What did the victim say?

At the same time, the victim told in the report to the police that the jewels of the three daughters -in -law of the house were kept in the old house. He lived in another house. Neighbors told them that the locks of his house were broken on Wednesday morning. When I reached the spot with my family, it was found that the thieves broke the locks of all the shelves and stole 30 weighing gold jewelery, 8 kg of silver and Rs 3 lakh cash.

There is a wedding at home on 25 April.

Family members said that the victim Mahipal Seth’s niece is married on April 25, but before marriage, the thieves stole the jewelry of all the daughters of the family. This theft has been deeply shocked to the family. The family is in financial crisis after the theft. Here, after the incident, the police is investigating the CCTV footage installed in the area. Police said they would soon resolve the case.
