Triumph will launch two new road-biased 400cc bikes
Triumph Motorcycles has hinted at the launch of two new road-biased 400cc bikes. Triumph will launch the two upcoming bikes around the festive season to achieve the target of selling 10,000 units per month. According to the information received, the upcoming bikes will be Triumph Thruxton 400 and Triumph Speedmaster 400.
Triumph Thruxton 400
The Triumph Thruxton 400 will be a retro cafe racer-style bike. It will be equipped with a frame-mounted half-fairing and clip-on handlebars, which will put the rider in a sporty riding position. It will be a mostly sportier version of the Triumph Speed 400. This powerful bike will be equipped with 43mm inverted forks and a gas-charged preload adjustable monoshock. It will also have the same 399cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the Speed 400. There is also no change in the braking setup, which is equipped with a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc brake. It will also have a ride-by-wire throttle and a slip-and-assist clutch. We expect the Thruxton 400 to be priced around Rs 2.62 lakh (ex-showroom).
Triumph Speedmaster 400
The Triumph Speedmaster 400 can be positioned as a cruiser-style bike. It will have a comfortable riding position with a longer wheelbase than the Speed 400. This bike will also be based on the same engine platform as the Speed 400. If you are looking for a cruiser style bike, then this bike will be an interesting bike.
Hero Destini 125 Scooter
This festive season, Hero may launch the much awaited scooter new Hero Destiny 125 scooter. The new Hero Destiny 125 scooter will have several design updates including copper accents on the front apron. A new rectangular shaped LED headlamp will be added to it. It will also have a raised tail light assembly and the scooter will have a flat side panel. Minor changes will be made to the seat and rear section. The new Hero Destiny 125 is expected to have the same 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 9 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque. The new Hero Destiny 125 is expected to have 12-inch alloy wheels at both the front and rear. The new design and wheels will be given a color matching with the body to complete the look. In terms of features, the new scooter may have a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, which will provide a modern and connected riding experience. Expected price could be ₹80,000 to ₹85,000 (ex-showroom).
