Jagdalpur. Two wombs were found in the body of a 13-year-old girl who came here from Odisha for treatment. This was confirmed in sonography test. Radiologist Dr Manish Meshram told that the uterus is an important organ found in the body of women, from which a woman gets the pleasure of becoming a mother and a new life is born in the universe. Generally all women have only one uterus, but sometimes different types of malformations arise in the same uterus.
A similar distortion was detected in sonography by Radiology Specialist Dr. Manish Meshram. On February 22, a 13-year-old girl from Kotpad area was suffering from the problem of non-periodicity and pain during that period. He was brought to the diagnostic center for examination. During sonography, Dr. Meshram’s careful inspection found that there are two uterus in the patient’s body, which in medical language is called uterine dydelphis. At the same time, he also discovered that the duct of the patient’s menstrual blood flow had also been blocked. Due to this a large blood clot has accumulated in the tubule. According to Dr. Manish, this type of nature is a rare perversion.
Due to uterine dydelphis
Dr Meshram explained that the cause of this anomaly is not known and often no symptoms are present, so many women do not even know that they have the disease. During female embryonic development, the uterus is formed into two separate parts, which later become intertwined at different stages of embryonic development. In some women, both parts are unable to connect in the process of embryo development and a congenital malformation of the twin uterus develops. Although there are many other types of malformations in this process, but in this issue only the uterus dydelphis has been told.
Problems with the uterus dydelphis
Different patients may have different problems according to the situation. These include problems such as absence of menstruation and pain, irregular menstruation, failure to conceive or frequent miscarriages. Although many women do not have any major problems, this pathology is detected by sonography after the woman’s conception.
Diagnosis and Precautions
If no symptoms are present and there are no complications with fertility and pregnancy, no surgical treatment is needed. The most important thing for pregnant women to remember is the double uterus deformity that falls under the category of high-risk pregnancy. This means that all the usual safety precautions associated with any pregnancy must be strictly followed.
Dr. Meshram said that now that the malformation of the uterus of the patient in this case has been detected in time, in addition to the present treatment, the sonography performed by this patient historically before the patient conceives after marriage. With the help of this report, possible necessary medical examination and treatment can be done to conceive a healthy pregnancy which will fill their married life with happiness.
