New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has continued its winning journey in the Under-19 World Cup. In the ODI World Cup played in India, the youth achieved their fourth consecutive victory by showing the performance of Rohit Sharma’s team. In the first match of Super Six, the team registered a huge victory of 214 runs against New Zealand. India had scored 295 runs thanks to Musheer Khan’s century. The Kiwi team was reduced to just 81 runs in front of the Indian bowling.
India’s dominance continues in the Under-19 World Cup. After winning all the league matches, the 5-time champion team also started the Super Six in a strong manner. After losing the toss against New Zealand, the Indian team came to bat and scored 295 runs for 8 wickets. Musheer Khan once again batted brilliantly and scored a century for the team which was in trouble.
Kiwi team folded cheaply
Indian team’s star spinner Soumya Pandey once again trapped the opposing team in its spin. While chasing the target of 296 runs given by India, the Kiwi team could reach only 81 runs. In bowling 10 overs, Soumya took 4 wickets for just 19 runs. Apart from this, Raj Limbani and Musheer Khan took 2-2 wickets.
Musheer’s all-round performance
Musheer Khan has made a tremendous comeback after flopping in the first match of the Under-19 World Cup against Bangladesh. After scoring a century against Ireland on 26 January, this batsman also scored a century against New Zealand in the Super Six. He completed his fifty by hitting 6 fours in 61 balls. After facing 109 runs, he completed his century with the help of 10 fours and 1 six.
