U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025: The schedule of ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 has been announced. This time this tournament will be played in Malaysia. Last season, India won the title by defeating England under the captaincy of Shefali Verma. Now this tournament is starting from 18 January next year. This is the special thing about India. This time India and Pakistan have been placed in different groups. India has got a place in Group-A. Whereas Pakistan has been placed in Group-B.
16 teams will play in the tournament
A total of 16 teams will participate in the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025. Each team will play three matches in the group stage. After this, the top-3 teams in each group will qualify for the Super-6 Six. For the Super Six, the teams will be divided into two groups. Out of which four teams will reach the semi-finals and after that the final match will be played. The semi-final match will be held on January 31 and the final match on February 2. Reserve day has been kept for the semi-finals and final. In the group stage, the Indian team has to play matches against West Indies, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
The 16 teams have been divided into four groups.
Group A: India, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Malaysia
Group B: England, Pakistan, Ireland, USA
Group C: New Zealand, South Africa, Africa qualifier, Samoa
Group D: Australia, Bangladesh, Asia Qualifier, Scotland
