New Delhi. The last rites of Devraj, a 10th class student who lost his life in a stabbing incident in Udaipur, Rajasthan, were performed today amid tight security. Devraj died yesterday in MB Hospital. Meanwhile, the situation in Udaipur remains tense. People are angry over the death of the minor student, due to which mobile internet has been banned. Schools and colleges also remained closed today. Meanwhile, the father of the deceased student says that his son was murdered as part of a well-planned conspiracy. He has demanded the harshest punishment for the culprit.

The victim’s father said that I want that what happened to me should not happen to anyone else, so the culprits should not be spared. The government has announced a compensation of Rs 51 lakhs to the victim’s family and a government job to one of the family members. It is worth mentioning that a student of a special community studying in class 10th in the Government Higher Secondary School located at Bhattiyani Chauhatta in Surajpol police station area of ​​Udaipur stabbed another student on Friday. After this incident, people of Hindu organizations gathered and started creating a ruckus.

As both the students belonged to different communities, the protest turned into communal violence. People created a ruckus in many areas of the city and closed the markets. After this, the protesters started vandalizing many shops and shopping malls. Many vehicles parked in the parking lot were also set on fire. The police had imposed Section 144 and as a precaution, mobile internet was banned in the city for about 48 hours. On Saturday, the next day of this incident, the district administration took action and demolished the illegal house of the accused student with a bulldozer. At present, the accused student has been sent to the juvenile home by the Juvenile Court while his father has been sent to jail by the police.
