Udaipur violence: Injured student’s condition critical, internet will remain closed in the city even today

Udaipur. After the disturbance caused by the stabbing incident in Lake City Udaipur, peace is now being restored. However, the condition of the student injured in the stabbing remains critical. A three-member team of doctors who came to Jaipur for his treatment is engaged in his treatment. But now there is peace in the city. Police is patrolling the streets. The tense atmosphere has eased. Top officials of the police and administration are keeping an eye on every activity. As a precaution, the period of internet ban in the city has been extended till 10 pm on Sunday.

There was tense calm in Udaipur, the city of lakes, on Saturday. The entire city remained under the shadow of bayonets. Amidst the prohibitory orders, lawyers protested by burning tyres but due to the vigilance of the police force, no untoward incident took place. After the incident, Bhajanlal Sarkar took a tough stand and razed the accused’s illegal house built on forest department land to the ground by running a bulldozer.

A large team of doctors is monitoring the condition of the injured student
Considering the sensitivity of the incident, the government had sent a team of three senior doctors from Jaipur’s SMS Hospital to Udaipur by charter plane for the treatment of the student. They are coordinating with the doctors of MB Hospital and are engaged in the treatment of the injured students. After that, the health bulletin of the injured student was issued on Saturday evening. His condition was stated to be stable in it. A large team of doctors is keeping an eye on the condition of the injured student.

The atmosphere had deteriorated due to rumours
There was a stabbing incident in a school in Udaipur on Friday morning. In that incident, a student stabbed another student. Later, he was admitted to the city’s MB Hospital in a critical condition. After that, due to rumours, there was a ruckus in the city within a few hours. The angry mob set many vehicles on fire. There was stone pelting. This brought the city under the shadow of fear. Later, the police administration came into action and controlled the situation. To stop the rumours, the internet was later shut down there. All the schools in the city were closed till further orders and prohibitory orders were imposed.
