There was arson and vandalism at many places in the city. Cars were set on fire. According to District Collector Arvind Poswal, an incident occurred this morning where two children were fighting among themselves and one child was stabbed with a knife. He got injured. At present, the condition of the child is stable and he is admitted in the ICU. The collector appealed to everyone not to pay attention to any kind of rumor. Section 144 has been imposed in Udaipur amid the deteriorating situation.
The collector said that the condition of the injured student Devraj is stable. His treatment is going on in the ICU. The police have arrested the accused student and his father. The entire matter will be investigated thoroughly.
The atmosphere got spoiled due to the rumor of death of the injured student
In fact, in a government school in Surajpol police station area of Udaipur, a student stabbed another student repeatedly on the thigh with a knife. The school teacher took the injured student to MB Hospital. The incident took place in Government Higher Secondary School Bhattiani Chohatta located in the middle of the city.
