Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has raised questions on Bharatiya Janata Party and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray. He has termed the Hindutva of both the parties as fake. He has asked Shiv Sena to take on BJP and MNS in an aggressive manner. Uddhav had a meeting with Shiv Sena spokespersons on Friday. At present, the state government is facing challenges due to allegations of corruption in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and issues like removal of loudspeakers from mosques.
According to the India Today report, Uddhav has questioned the MNS chief where was he when the Babri Masjid was being demolished. Earlier also Uddhav had said that Raj’s party and BJP had gone into hiding at the time of demolition of Babri Masjid. CM Thackeray has described the opposition as ‘Neo Hindu’.
Party leader Sanjay Raut said, “We have been asked to face the opposition aggressively and not get entangled in the cases or proceedings of central agencies like ED, CBI.” During this, Raut has once again raised the issue of Hindu Owaisi.
According to the report, Raut said that the opposition is using Hindu Owaisi against Shiv Sena to cut Hindu votes. He said that people know who the Hindu Owaisi is. Raut said, “Uddhav Saheb has said that all those who are playing the tunes of Hindutva are fake and neo-Hindu. He said that Hindutva is not something to be demonstrated. Those who harassed Balasaheb while he was alive are now coming and questioning the army about Hindutva.
Shiv Sena has decided to take out a grand rally in Mumbai on May 14. During that time CM Thackeray will address the party workers. Uddhav will also reach Marathwada region on June 8. The special thing is that this will be Uddhav’s first major political rally after two years due to COVID.
