Bhilwara. The plot lottery process proposed by the Urban Development Trust (UIT) has been postponed by the Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate East Court till further order. The decision came due to non -submission of replies by the UIT on the petition filed by the District Advocate Institution. District Bar Association President Rajesh Sharma said that a petition was filed by the institution in protest against the alleged irregularities in the lottery process. The court had summoned the reply from the UIT secretary, but due to the negligence of Trust Secretary Lalit Goyal, the court has stayed the lottery process till 14 July 2025 due to not submitting the reply on time. After the verdict, an atmosphere of happiness was seen in the district court premises. Bar District President Rajesh Sharma said that before the trust’s secretary Lalit Goyal and District Collector Jasmeet Singh Sandhu did not appear, before giving a memorandum that the Chief Minister of the then Rajasthan government had provided 05 percent reservation to the advocates in the state under notification number P.S.3 (745) Navibhhi/3/10 on 02 July 2013. Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Notified Journalists, Transgender Person and soldiers were given the benefit of reservation. But the advocates were deprived of this reservation. Regarding this, the District Advocate Association, an organization of advocates, took a stay against the scheme and took a stay in the court. According to sources, another new complaint was presented in the court against the plan. In which it has been demanded that in this plan of the trust, where the plot and which size plots and at what rate will be allotted. He was not mentioned anywhere. Which is yet to be heard.
