He joined the Labour Party in April 2020.

Former European Parliament MP Nigel Farage, 60, is considered one of the most divisive leaders of British politics. He got the nickname ‘Mr Brexit’ from former US President Donald Trump after he helped convince most Britons to vote to leave the European Union in 2016. In this election, Farage is trying to become an MP for the eighth time. Farage is the head of the far-right Reform UK party. Many surveys are claiming that the Reform UK party can harm the Conservative Party in many key seats. Farage has also been accused of making racist and anti-gay statements.

The former economics researcher served as the government’s Energy and Climate Change Secretary under the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition from 2012 to 2015. Davey became the leader of the left-wing Liberal Democrats in 2019. He seems to have a hold in southern Britain. Davey says that if he wins the election, he will improve Britain’s health and social care systems. He will also reduce the voting age to 16 years.

John Swinney does not have a seat in the British Parliament. But he was the first minister in the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. 60-year-old Swinney became the third leader of the SNP in just a year in May. Swinney has tried to bring stability to the party. Swinney has said that if his party wins a majority of seats in Scotland, he will try to start Scottish independence talks with the UK government in London.
