On Thursday, a Russian bombing of a school in Merefa near Kharkiv killed 21 people. According to local media reports in Ukraine, 25 people were injured in the attack, of which the condition of 10 is said to be critical. However, the casualties have not been confirmed yet.
Giving information, the Mayor of Merefa, Veniamin Sitov, said that a community center and school in Merefa were bombed by Russia. Buildings were destroyed in this attack. The attack took place in the early hours of Thursday. Russia has intensified bombings to gain an edge in the region. Ukraine’s emergency service said a woman, her husband and three children were killed in shelling in the city of Chernihiv, northeast of Kyiv.

Ukrainian actress Oksana Shvets has been killed in a Russian rocket attack on a residential building in Kyiv. Confirming Oksana’s death, her troupe Young Theater issued a statement, which read, “Oksana Shvets, a qualified artist from Ukraine, died during a rocket attack on a residential complex in Kyiv.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oksana was 67 years old. He was awarded one of Ukraine’s highest artistic honours, the title roughly translated as ‘Honored Artist of Ukraine’.
