The dispute over water supply in Banganhedi village under Jairauli police station in Tijara area of Alwar took violent form. It is alleged that uncle and his family together attacked the nephew, his wife and eight -year -old daughter with an ax. The couple were seriously injured in the attack and after first aid they were referred to Alwar General Hospital from Tijara. The injured girl also suffered injuries.
According to the information received, Afzal, a resident of Banganhedi, was filling water outside the house with his wife Meemuna and daughter Namira. Meanwhile, his uncle Ayub and other family members Aaron, Rahul and Junaid along with about half a dozen people attacked him. It is alleged that the attackers attacked Afzal and Memuna with an ax and bled them. Namira also suffered serious injuries in this attack.
Local people say that there was already a dispute between the two families over cutting trees. Due to this old enmity, the dispute over the recent water pipeline took violent form. Police was informed about the incident. The police have registered a case and started investigation. However, after the attack, all the accused escaped and their search is on.
