The High School and Intermediate 2022 examination of Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) has started from Thursday. 51.92 lakh candidates are appearing for both the classes. The Chief Minister of the state, Yogi has given best wishes to the students appearing in the examination. High school examination started in the first shift in the morning. The candidates were given admission after checking their admit cards at the examination centers to appear in the examination which would begin at 8:00 am.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi congratulated the students who appeared in the examination and wrote that dear students, UP Board’s 10th and 12th class examinations are starting. All the aspirants appear in the exam with full concentration without any stress. Your hard work will surely bear fruit and you will definitely get pleasant results. My best wishes are with you.
51,92,689 students will appear in the examination at 8373 centers across the state. The board has directed all the center administrators to make sure that the examinees should write their roll number and roll number of the copy in their handwriting on each page of the copy. The board has given these instructions to prevent the incidents of copy changing of meritorious students in the examination.
This will let you know when the copy or middle pages are changed. Along with this, instructions have also been given to remove the materials like maps, pictures, drawings in the examination hall. On the first day, the examination of High School English and Elementary English and Inter Military Science will be held in the shift from 8 to 11.15 am on Thursday. Whereas in the second shift from 2 to 5.15 pm, there will be Inter English and General paper.
The government has made it clear that super zonal, zonal, sector and static magistrates will be personally responsible for conducting peaceful and fair examinations at each center. Senior officials of the education department have been posted as supervisors in all 75 districts. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has instructed the Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, DM, SSP, SP and other senior officers for surprise inspection of the examination centers. The responsibility of monitoring sensitive districts and centers has been given to STF, LIU and local police.
There is a provision to impose Rasuka on organized copycats. The examinations will continue till April 12. Board examinations were not conducted in the year 2021 due to COVID infection, all the examinees were promoted to the next class.
CCTV cameras have been installed in every room to monitor the examination centers of UP Board. Apart from this, there are routers with DVR for monitoring through webcasting. A control room has been set up at the district headquarters as well as at the state level, from where the examination will be closely monitored through webcasting.
The arrangements for center administrators, room invigilators at the examination centers have been completed. In every district, zonal and sector magistrates have been appointed by the district administration, who will be traveling and make the examination copy-free. The department has formed five mobile squads. Apart from this, high officials of the government and administration have been made nodal officers, who will keep an eye on the activities and submit the report to the government.
