After assuming power in 2014, the Modi government started the first task by taking inspiration from Bapu’s spirit of self-reliance. Whether it was about opening Jan Dhan accounts of the poor or starting the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in the country, the inspiration of Mahatma Gandhi was working behind all this. This is the reason that the Swachh Bharat Mission has emerged as a Swasth Bharat Mission today. Along with this, this campaign has also become a medium to protect women’s dignity.
The work being done in the village realizing the vision of Gram Swarajya
In his address, the Chief Minister said that when the whole world was suffering from Corona, the PM had given a mantra to the country for self-reliant India. Self-reliant India, which means that we should become vocal for what is local. We should feel proud of our words, Bapu used to say the same. He made Khadi the basis of India’s self-reliance, the basis of Swadeshi and respect. The vision of village self-government, which Bapu had once seen, is being realized by the ongoing government work in the rural areas. What Bapu once inspired, today under the leadership of PM Modi, the central and state governments are working diligently to fulfill it.
The vision of self-reliant Uttar Pradesh will have to be realized
One District One Product (ODOP) scheme is a campaign to achieve the goal of self-reliant India. If we want to achieve the goal of self-reliant India, then all of us will have to realize the vision of self-reliant Uttar Pradesh. We not only have to be proud of Swadeshi but also promote local products. If we want to make our products stand out in the global competition, then we have to change its color as per the need. In the last five years, UP encouraged these products, so our exports doubled. With this, we are leading lakhs of people towards self-reliance and self-reliance. Through Vishwakarma Shram Samman, the program is part of this program by honoring the handicraftsmen, artisans of the village, providing them with toolkits and encouraging them.
