The RLD-SP alliance has succeeded in winning three seats in Shamli, four in Muzaffarnagar and four in Meerut. In these places, the SP got only one seat in 2017. In Purvanchal, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party has given a lot of strength to the SP. In Mau, the SP-SubhaSP alliance has won three out of four seats. In Ghazipur, success has been achieved in seven seats. SubhaSP has got success in six seats in Purvanchal. SubhaSP had fought the last assembly elections along with the BJP and won four out of eight seats. Krishna Patel-led Apna Dal (K) contested with the SP in this election. The party fought on three seats and lost all three, but working president Pallavi Patel contested on the SP symbol and proved himself by defeating Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.
