Lucknow. Kajal, a young runner who reached Lucknow after running from Prayagraj, was honored by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister made Kajal’s 200 km journey from Prayagraj to Lucknow more memorable by honoring her. Kajal, who dreams of becoming an athlete, was also gifted running shoes by the Chief Minister. According to the information received from the government, Kajal Nishad, the 10-year-old daughter of Neeraj Kumar Nishad, resident of Lalitpar village of Manda police station area of Prayagraj district, is a student of class four. Kajal had participated in a local sporting event in Prayagraj and finished the race. But Kajal became very disappointed due to not getting due respect in the program.
Regarding this matter, Kajal had written a letter to the Chief Minister expressing her desire to meet him, for which Kajal left Prayagraj on foot for Lucknow on 10 April. Kajal completed the 200 km long journey from Prayagraj to Lucknow on 15 April and reached 5 Kalidas Marg directly to meet the Chief Minister. As soon as the Chief Minister came to know about this, he immediately asked Kajal to meet him. Seeing this dedication and dedication of Kajal, the Chief Minister honored her with his own hands and also gifted her with shoes, track suit and sports kit, motivating her to achieve new heights in the race in the same way. When she was honored by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Kajal’s happiness knew no bounds.
