A strange incident happened on Sunday night with UP Sports Minister Girish Chandra Yadav, who reached Banda on a two-day tour. The mouse bit him while he was sleeping. Due to suspicion of snake bite, the minister’s health started deteriorating. As soon as the information about the matter was received, there was panic and he was immediately brought to the district hospital. On confirmation of rat bite here, he was discharged from the hospital by dressing.
District Hospital’s Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) Dr. SN Mishra said that Sports Minister Girish Chandra Yadav, who came to Banda on a two-day visit, stayed in room number six of Circuit House, Mawai Bypass, on Sunday night. Late at around three o’clock in the night, he realized that some creature had bitten the finger of his right hand.
According to Dr. Mishra, the minister suspected that the snake had bitten him because of the forest around him. In this panic, his health started deteriorating. The minister was immediately admitted to the hospital. Where it was found in the investigation that he was not bitten by a snake, but by a mouse or mole.
According to CMS, the minister’s health started improving after it was confirmed that the snake did not bite and he was discharged from the hospital at 6 am. The official said that the minister is now completely healthy and he left for Lucknow on Monday morning.
