UP Police Exam City Slip Released: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released the UP Police Constable Exam City Slip today i.e. on 16 August 2024. Candidates who have applied for the posts of UP Police Constable can check and download the exam city intimation slip through the official website of UPPBPB, uppbpb.gov.in. Along with this, the admit card of UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam will be released 3 days before the commencement of the examination. UP Police Constable Exam will be conducted on 23, 24, 25, 30, 31 August 2024 at various examination centers across the state.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 5 pm. The gap between the written exams has been kept in view of the Janmashtami holiday on August 26. The UPPBPB constable exam was earlier held on February 17 and 18, 2024, in four shifts in which over 48 lakh candidates appeared. However, the state government cancelled it on February 24 as its question paper was leaked.
After this, the government directed that the examination be conducted again within six months. The examination will be conducted for recruitment to 60,244 posts of UP Police Constable.
