New Delhi. Along with promoting plantation in the state, the state government will make the farmers associated with horticulture financially strong. For this, he has prepared a plan to make 150 hi-tech nurseries from MNREGA scheme. The Rural Development Department has been asked to prepare a proposal to set up nurseries (nurseries) in 100 days. The government plans to plant more than 22 crore 50 lakh saplings in these nurseries. 15 lakh saplings will be planted in each nursery. Good quality plants of fruits, flowers and vegetables planted in the nursery will become a big source of income for the farmers.
In its second term, the Yogi government is working fast to promote the nursery sector. With this scheme, the days of farmers associated with nurseries will be multiplied and their economic condition will also be strengthened. Two nurseries will be set up in each district. In these, farmers will be made aware to plant medicinal plants like Sarpagandha, Ashwagandha, Brahmi, Kalmegh, Kaunch, Satavari, Tulsi, Aloe vera along with flowers and fruits.
In order to get more benefit from less cost to the farmers, new technology of plantation will be linked. Through the scheme, people will get huge opportunities to establish their own employment by setting up nursery of plants. Farmers’ training programs will be run for plantation. Let us tell you that the intention of the government is to increase the income of the farmers and provide them maximum benefits. The government has started big efforts to increase greenery in the state, benefit the environment, increase the attachment of people towards trees and plants.
