On Wednesday, there were reports that many families living in Chandreshwar Hata have migrated from here. People of Hata say that these reports are wrong. No one is going to run away from here. Meanwhile, the Kanpur Commissionerate Police is on a hunt for the accused of the riots. The police had released a poster with photographs of around 35 rioters. Many of them have surrendered after reaching the police station. The police along with the forensic team had recreated the scene of the riots in the area yesterday. All the bricks and stones and other things were also collected from here. The police have come to know that the rioters broke the CCTV cameras at many places. Many people even deleted their camera footage. Police is interrogating all of them.
Apart from this, it has been learned that some businessman was providing huge amount to Hayat Zafar Hashmi, the main accused of Kanpur riots. In this case, the police is now going to take the help of Enforcement Directorate ED. It is believed that Hashmi got the money received through the businessman in his 4 bank accounts to hide the matter of funding from abroad directly. Hashmi’s name also cropped up during the anti-CAA movement. Now on the instructions of the UP Police, the government is also finding out why action was not taken against Hashmi at that time and whether some people of the police were involved in this.
