Lucknow. Yogi government is preparing to make Uttar Pradesh an IT hub. The government is going to set up IT parks in all the divisions of the state. This will increase investment in the state, as well as new employment opportunities will be available for the youth. Yogi government wants to make the state’s economy number one in the country in the next five years. Also, the government aims to provide employment to at least one person from every family in the state. For this, the Yogi government is constantly making efforts. In this sequence, the government is going to set up an IT park in each division. The construction work of Agra, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Bareilly IT Parks is in progress, while IT Parks have started in Meerut, Prayagraj and Kanpur. In the next two years, preparations are being made to start IT Parks in all the divisions of the state.
Better infrastructure will be available in the IT Park. Along with this, there will also be a technology-rich space for companies. All types of facilities related to the need of IT companies will be available in the IT Park. This is likely to increase investment in the state. Under the IT and Startup Policy-2017, an investment of Rs 5642.30 crore has been made so far. From the year 2017 to 2022, 43,780 employment opportunities have been made available and in future these IT parks will provide more employment opportunities for the youth.
