Lucknow. The Yogi government will rejuvenate the old dilapidated secondary schools of the state. Private schools will also get the benefit of this scheme of the government. Under the scheme, 75 percent amount will be given by the government for the rejuvenation of schools, while 25 percent amount will have to be spent by the management system. This plan has been approved by the Council of Ministers. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna gave this information in Lok Bhavan on Tuesday.

Giving information about the proposals passed in the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Suresh Khanna said that last year also the government had come up with this scheme, in which 50 percent grant was said to be given by the government while the rest of the amount was to be arranged by the management system. Seeing the indifference towards this scheme, now the government has amended it. Now the government will spend 75 percent amount on the rejuvenation of old dilapidated schools while the management will have to spend only 25 percent amount. Management can also use their CSR fund for this, while MLA or Parliament can also arrange funds from the fund.
First 50 years old schools will be renovated
He told that under this scheme, the government will first of all rejuvenate the schools which are more than 50 years old. After this, 40 years, then 30 years old schools will be taken care of. Under the scheme, special attention will be paid to the construction of floors, roofs, separate toilets for girls and other construction works of the schools. The government will release funds for this in the ratio of 40:40:20. Means first 40 percent, then 40 percent and finally 20 percent. The objective of the scheme is to provide a safe place of study to the students studying in the schools.
The compulsion of ID to stay in the hotel will be strictly enforced
Giving information about other important decisions of the Council of Ministers, the Finance Minister said that the rule of identification for passengers staying in hotels will now be strictly implemented. He told that such information was being received for a long time that many hotels give rooms to customers without ID. After some incidents, it has been decided to implement it strictly. Hotel operators will be allowed to rent rooms only after taking ID from the customers. If this is not done, action will be taken as per rules.
